Stargazing with the Chicago Astronomical Society Details:
First Saturday Stargazing program runs from 5 pm to 7 pm at Kemil Beach parking lot. Join members of the Chicago Astronomical Society as they view the night sky through telescopes to see the Milky Way crossing the night sky overhead from north-east to south-west. Expect to see examples of ancient star clusters like the Hercules Globular Cluster and young Star Clusters like the Wild Duck Cluster. There will also be colored double stars, planetary nebula, and the Andromeda Galaxy.
These programs will continue on the first Saturday of every month, except March and July.
